The banner opens by itself for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, where the law requires consent first. Visitors elsewhere are not asked, and Google Analytics stays without cookies for them too unless they allow it with Manage cookies.

Until you allow analytics, Google Analytics runs in consent mode with storage denied: it sets no cookies and sends only anonymous, cookieless signals that Google uses to estimate visits.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, with Manage cookies above. Withdrawing stops the cookies from being set from then on; to remove ones already stored, clear this site's cookies in your browser.
